Zachary's 4th Birthday!

Dear Zachary,

I can't believe it has been 4 years since you entered our lives and brought new hope and joy into our lives. The past four years have flown and we are so blessed to be your parents. Although we may be a little biased, we think you are the smartest, funniest, sweetest boy around. You constantly surprise us with your incredible memory (you don't forget anything!) and how quickly you learn anything you put your mind to.

You make us laugh every day, you make friends wherever you go and it seems that all the kids you know love to be around you. You love preschool, gymnastics and being with your "buddies." You are so active, always moving riding your bike, scooter, whatever you can find. You love to sing and have really enjoyed being in primary and learning the primary songs, especially "Praise to the Man". You are quick to apologize when you do something wrong and I have to say that even when I am mad, hearing you say "I'm so so sorry mom" usually makes everything ok. You do try us with your strong will but we know that your head strong determination will take you far some day. You are the first to remind us to pray and not to say such bad words as "stupid".

You love your little brother and are very protective of him. Although you also like to annoy him you are learning more to play with him. You love to be silly in the bath together and to jump on mom or dad together. Your imaginative play is one of my favorite things in the whole world to watch. You come up with elaborate scenes, usually races for your cars. You hate it when your brother messes them up.

You LOVE to read the Book of Mormon story book as well as almost any other book. You love informational books from the library on race cars, monster trucks, dinosaurs and anything else you are interested in at the time. You have memorized all of our shorter board books so much that you can "read" them word for word to Brady when he requests.

We love you Zachary!

Love,
Mom and Dad
