To wrap up the summer we went to Tanaka farms on a watermelon tour. It was H-O-T, and I mean sweat dripping down my back hot. But it was still fun. We got to ride in the tractor and try all different kinds of veggies and fruits. The most exciting thing to me, a watermelon hater since birth, was that I discovered I loved the yellow watermelon!
We went on a tractor ride
tried some carrots
green beans
corn on the cob (so good, raw, tasted like candy!)
and best of all... yellow watermelon!
we got to pick our own watermelons (even though the fields were looking a little dead)
